Clay process

The clay is all natural earth clay,  it is gathered, clean and processed.  Volcanic ash is also gathered and added to the clay. The ash is the temper to prevent the thermal shock to the pottery when the wood is lit, unlike an electric kiln which is a gradual heat increase, the wood firing gets very hot, very quick.
